Danielle Harley

Danielle has danced since the age of 4.

From the very young age of 9, Danielle knew she wanted to “Perform!”

Her training started at Sara Durant's School of Ballet in Chester, also taught by Nina Gaskill. At the age of 11 she gained a place at the very prestigious school Bush Davies in East Grinstead Sussex, she boarded and trained every day in Dance and Theatre.

Although incredibly homesick she was determined she was going to “Make It!” Danielle's further training was at Dorothy Stevens School in Halifax, Yorkshire and then to London at the famous “Italia Conti Academy” to complete her training alongside Claire Goose, Louise Redknap, Lucy Speed, Renne Zagger to name a few.

Time to work!

After 12 years of professional work in the entertainment industry (of which details are listed on the side), Danielle decided to return to her home town of Chester. She opened Diddi Dance, dance classes for 2-4 yr olds. Diddi dance has become very popular within Chester and surrounding areas so Danielle decided to open a purpose built dance studio in Mollington Grange.

She now passes on her knowledge and skills to others by offering different styles of Dance and Theatre classes. Her studio is a professional but friendly venue for children to learn to dance.

Danielle has the support of wonderful teachers working along side her, along with her family, fiancé and friends. Their continued efforts are invaluable.

Karen Cripps

Ballet Teacher

Karen has a wealth of experience in teaching Dance and Drama.

Danielle and Karen met at Sara Durrant's Ballet School in Chester when they first started dancing at a very young age. Karen went to the very famous Laine Theatre Arts College in Epsom, Surrey to do a 3 year Teacher Training and Theatre study course involving all aspects of Dance, Drama, Singing, Anatomy and knowledge of Stage Management at the age of 16.

Karen gained an impressive Merit in RAD Ballet Teaching Certificate Credit in ISTD Associate Ballet & Modern

On leaving Laine Theatre Arts College Karen has had extensive teaching experience in grades from Pre-Primary to Intermediate levels in Ballet and Modern Dance.

Karen's objective is to give all children the opportunity to express themselves through music and dance and to nurture talent and develop a child's individual artistic and physical ability.

Danielle is delighted that Karen has joined Danielle's Dance and Theatre School.

Rhys Heys

Street Dance Teacher

Rhys only started dancing 2 years ago but is a talent not to be missed! He not only is an amazing Street Dancer but he sings and plays the drums. Rhys is currently training at the West Cheshire College and has recently been offered a place in Dance Works in Cambridge to further his training.

His style of dance is very funky jazz and old school street dance. Freestyle locking and popping!

The children that come to Rhys's Street Dance Class come bounding out after enjoying themselves so much. They don't want it to end!

Suzie Harley

Children's Party entertainer and Diddi dance teacher

Suzie Danced from a young age starting with Sara Durrant's School of Ballet joining her big sister Danielle. Suzie then gained a place at Elmhurst Ballet School in Camberley, Surrey at the age of 13 where she trained to Dance, Sing and Act.

After doing her GCSE´s Suzie returned to Chester to then train at The North West Theatre School.

Suzie's personality brings a sparkle to a children's party and the Diddi dance classes she teaches. Suzie is also an opera singer. She is currently recording in a studio to gain a record deal in the near future - fingers crossed for her!
